The Greatest Commandment

The greatest commandment, according to Jesus, is to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself. We make it our aim to deepen our love for God and then extend that love to all people we have the privilege of meeting.

The Great Commission

Before Jesus returned to Heaven, He commissioned His followers to go and make disciples of the nations. A disciple is the student of a master who, through training, becomes more like the master. We aim to help people know Jesus and learn from Him what it means to follow.

The Great Purpose

Isaiah 43:7

God's glory is the expression of His beauty, excellence and magnificence — the overflowing fullness of all that is good. God created people to bring Him glory. Our purpose is to bring more glory to God through our love for God, love for people, and our efforts to make disciples.

VBS Prep Team

CityLine, we need your help! We are looking forward to hosting nearly 300 children that the Lord will be bringing to our church June 22-26 for Vacation Bible School! But we need your hands to make it happen! We'd love for you to sign up for a day to help. You do not have to stay for the entire day. 11:00 PM · Join us this summer as we equip students to know their purpose, live out the Gospel, and confidently share their faith. Through three weeks of engaging teaching and practical training, students will be challenged to live on mission for Jesus every day. June 3rd - Our Purpose & God’s Commission June 10th- The Gospel In Us and Through Us June 17th - Gospel Advancing Way Next Gen Nights will be split into 2 phases. * Phase 1 is for our 6th to 10th graders from 6:00-7:30pm located in the cafe. * Phase 2 is for those aged 16-22 years old from 7:00-9:00pm located in the worship center.

Each night has two phases: the first is all about 6th-10th grade students from 6:00-7:30pm, with high-energy worship, a relevant message, and time to build community. The second phase is for those ranged from 16-22 years old, with extended worship and deeper teaching to challenge and equip the next generation of leaders from 7:00-9:00pm. Food Pantry
1:45 PM · Our Food Pantry is available every 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month from 9:30 - 11 am for guests to pick up fresh produce, bread, non-perishable items, and miscellaneous items (when available). If you know of anyone who could use food assistance, please invite them. We are asking guests to try to arrive from 9:30-9:45 am. We are offering a light breakfast and coffee or tea. We'll have a brief time of worship and share in conversations and prayer before guests take their food home. Volunteers: Volunteers will meet at 8:45 am in the Café. Serving opportunities include: * Setting up tables in the hallway. * Making breakfast in the kitchen. * Setting out food onto the tables. Here is our general schedule: 8:45 - 9:30 am Set up, prepare breakfast 9:30 - 9:50 am Breakfast & coffee 9:50 - 10:05 am Brief Worship 10:05 - 11:00 am Conversations & Prayer We are looking for volunteers who love God & love people, and are willing to joyfully welcome, serve and talk with guests, and if comfortable, pray for them. We will need at least 3 volunteers for each Food Pantry to deliver food to people who are in need but cannot pick up the food. Deliveries begin around 10:45 - 11:00 am, are within 15-20 minutes from CityLine, and drivers can go directly home afterwards. If you want to volunteer to serve, please register for as many dates as you are able to serve. Please indicate if you are also available to make any deliveries if necessary. Lastly, we are also looking for volunteers who can lead two worship songs during the brief worship time of our Food Pantry. VBS Dad's Day Setup Team
6:00 PM · CityLine Men, we need your help! We are looking for 50 men to do the heavy lifting on VBS setup after Sunday services. Many hands make light work! Sign up, stay as long as your schedule allows, then head out for your Father's Day celebration. Lunch will be provided. Women: Taste & See
2:30 PM · Taste & See! ✨ This June and July, CityLine Women ages 18-40 are heading into the kitchen! Our Taste & See cooking series is all about building relationships, learning new culinary skills, and celebrating the goodness of God. Pick a Saturday morning session (9:30 AM – noon). Experience hands-on cooking instruction, share a meal, and hear about the faithfulness of God from other mature women of faith. We will be meeting in host homes for the series: * 6/6 - Northbrook * 6/27 - Northbrook * 7/11 - Glenview * 7/25 - Glenview Registration is limited--only 10 spots available per session!
