The Path to Peace

December 21, 2025

In a loud and chaotic world, peace often feels out of reach. Scripture reminds us that biblical peace is not the absence of conflict, but the settled assurance that God is present, faithful, and at work even when life is disrupted. In this Advent message, we explore how peace enters our lives through Jesus and how we respond when God interrupts our plans. Looking at the Christmas story, we learn from three lives shaped by God’s peace: 1. Mary shows us peace through surrender to God’s will 2. Joseph teaches peace through obedient trust 3. Simeon reveals peace through fulfilled hope Peace did not come to them because life became easy. It came because they moved toward Jesus with faith, obedience, and trust. The path to peace is not a formula or a process. It is a person, and His name is Jesus. As we wait, struggle, and hope, we are reminded that we do not wait alone. God is with us, and His peace is available even in the middle of uncertainty.
