The God of New Things

This weekend we will explore the hope of a new heaven and new earth, where God dwells with His people, sorrow and death are gone, and all things are made new through Christ. Because this future is secure and trustworthy, believers are called to live differently now—not with apathy, indulgence, or anxiety, but with holiness, peace, growth, and expectant hope. This future hope is anchored in God’s past saving work and requires both remembering His faithfulness and letting go of past sin and discouragement to embrace what He is doing now. Ultimately, this future belongs to those who are “in Christ,” made new through faith in Jesus, and that assured hope shapes both our character and our daily lives.
